Terms and Conditions for Money Transfer (Clearing & RTGS)
- Clearing is the exchange of records or electronic financial data between clearing parties either on behalf of parties or its customer with the calculation to be finished on a certain time.
- System of Bank Indonesia Real Time Gross Settlement (Sistem BI-RTGS) is a transfer system of electronic Funds between banks in rupiah currency with the completion done immediately per transaction individually.
- PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BNI) will execute funds transfer (FT) according to the instruction given by the transferrer/user using menu of Funds Transfer – Clearing or RTGS on BNI Internet Banking.
- Maximum limit to FT Transaction by Clearing or RTGS will be according to the conditions applied.
- Account which can be used as debet account to cover FT transaction by Clearing or RTGS is an account under the same CIF with other accounts affiliated with BNI Card during the registration of BNI Internet Banking and accounts which have been registered as debet accounts.
- FT Transaction by Clearing or RTGS can only be executed when the coverage of funds and fees occured on this transaction is available in the debet account of transferrer/user customer.
- BNI in executing this instruction has been given the authority by the Transferrer/user customer to do the following but not limited to:
- Performs necessary actions for the execution of said funds transfer.
- Delegates/subtitutes given authority to other party.
- Cooperates with other party in executing said instruction.
- BNI has no obligation and responsibility towards any risks emerged during the execution of said money transfer leading to failure or late payment which is caused by the followings :
- The account number of Transferee typed by Transferrer/user is incorrect, changed, incomplete, or could not be found by BNI and/or Beneficiary Bank.
- Needed and/or inapproriate actions to be done by beneficiary bank or laws and regulations applied at beneficiary bank.
- Situation or event beyond the capability of BNI such as natural disasters, fire, wars, social commotion, labor disputes, the damage in part or whole to communication devices and the enforcement of laws/government regulations/other regulations which prevents BNI in carrying out its obligation to the transferrer’s instruction in part or whole.
- The cancellation of FT transaction by Clearing or RTGS could not be done by transferrer/user customer.
- All fees related to the execution of this FT by Clearing or RTGS and also any other fees related, will become the burden or responsibility of transferrer/user customer.
- If FT is transferred back/returned then the funds sent will be returned to the source debet account (transferrer’s account) accordingly.
