What is BNI Internet Banking?BNI Internet Banking is a service facility given to BNI customer to perform banking transactions through internet network, anytime, anywhere, which facilitates its users to do things from balance inquiry, account mutation to transfer, bill payment and financial planning. Financial information that is displayed on BNI Internet Banking is always the latest data from BNI Online System.Accounts which can be accessed are Savings (BNI Taplus, BNI Taplus Bisnis, BNI Taplus Muda, BNI Taplus Anak, BNI Tapenas, BNI Taplus Anggota), BNI Personal Current (Rupiah), BNI Deposit (Rupiah) and Personal Loan Account as long as the customer information File is the same.- Balance Inquiry

Financial TransactionII. How do I register to BNI Internet Banking
Where can I register to BNI Internet Banking?Registration to BNI Internet Banking can be done via BNI ATM or via Customer Service officer in the nearest Branch Office. Please make sure that your latest cellphone number and e-mail address are already registered in BNI when registering BNI Internet Banking.- Registration Process
- From the main menu, select e-Channel Registration then select BNI Internet Banking
- Enter 6 (six) digits of BNI Internet Banking registration PIN (Customer will be asked to re-enter the PIN as a mean of confirmation). Registration PIN of BNI Internet Banking will be asked the system during activation in BNI Internet Banking website
- After the registration process is finished, Customer will receive an ATM receive as proof of registration to BNI Internet Banking and on the same receipt, is the application code to BNI Internet Banking application which consist 6 (six) - 8 (eight) characters which will be asked by system during activation in BNI Internet Banking website
- After the registration process in BNI ATM is finished, Customer can proceed with the activation process in BNI Internet Banking website
- Activation Process
- Accessing BNI Internet Banking can be done through homepage www.bni.co.id and click on the login button of Personal BNI Internet Banking
- On the login page of BNI Internet Banking, Customer can click on the link “Please click here for activation if you have registered BNI Internet Banking”
- Enter 6 (six) - 8 (eight) characters of BNI Internet Banking Application Code which is printed in the ATM receipt, Captcha code and 6 (six) digits of Registration PIN which was entered previously on ATM screen in the provided field in BNI Internet Banking screen
- Customer will be asked to verify his/her cellphone number registered in BNI. System will send One Time Password (OTP) via SMS to Customer cellphone to be entered in the provided field of BNI Internet Banking screen
- If the OTP Code entered do not match with the OTP Code sent by system, then the activation process will be stopped and customer can proceed the activation process after updating cellphone number via Customer Service Officer at Branch Office
- If the OTP code entered is correct, then the activation process will continue
- Customer will be asked to enter password. This will be done twice as confirmation to the chosen password. The format is minimum of 8 (eight) characters, with maximum of 12 (twelve) characters which are a combination of numbers and alphabets
- After entering password, Customer will be shown an User-Id generate by system, account data, cellphone number and e-mail address stored in BNI. If there inconsistency with the data, Customer is asked to update his/her data via BNI Internet Banking menu, or via Customer Service Officer at Branch Office. The displayed User-Id must be memorized by Customer, to be used when login
- Customer will be shown the option to activate access to BNI Internet Banking via mobile browser option
- Click the “Process” button, then customer is already activated in BNI Internet Banking. This activation process will enable Customer to perform non financial and financial transactions
- On first time activation, by default will be linked to BNI m-Secure to authorize financial transaction. If customer wishes to use another authorization mode, Customer can visit the nearest Branch Office to apply for BNI e-Secure
Registration Steps of BNI Internet Banking via ATM are as the following :
- Registration Process
- Meet the Customer Service Officer in the Branch Office to apply for BNI Internet Banking by bringing indentity card (ID/Driver’s License/ Passport/KITAS) and proof of account ownership (passbook and or BNI Card)
- After verification process and update of customer cellphone number and email address, the Officer will ask which authorization mode of financial transaction preffered by Customer. If Customer does not have special preference, then Customer will be link with BNI e-Secure.
- After registration process is finished, Customer will received an receipt as proof of registration to BNI Internet Banking and on the receipt, a User-Id of BNI Internet Banking is noted and will be asked by system during activation in BNI Internet Banking website.
- After the registration process in the customer service is finished, customer can proceed with the activation process in BNI Internet Banking website
- Activation Process
- Enter 8 (eight) characters of temporary User-Id printed on the customer service receipt to the provided field of BNI Internet Banking screen along with captcha code.
- Customer will be asked to enter password. This will be done twice as confirmation to the chosen password. The format is minimum 8 (eight) characters, with maximum of 12 (twelve) characters which are a combination of numbers and alphabets
- Click the “process” button, then Customer is already activated in BNI Internet Banking. This activation process will enable Customer to perform non financial and financial transactions
- The Authorization mode to financial transaction is as previously chosen by Customer when visiting customer service officer at Branch Office

Is it safe doing transaction in BNI Internet Banking?Yes, BNI Internet Banking prioritizes on the simplicity and security of your information and financial transactionBNI never ask customer to update customer data via e-mail. If it happens, please be careful of phishing activities that targeted your personal data. Update your personal data (including phone number, mobile phone number and email) directly to the branch.BNI e-Secure is an additional security device to perform financial transaction in BNI Internet Banking which can be instantly obtained in the neares branch officeBNI m-Secure is an additional secury application for financial transaction in BNI Internet Banking which can be installed in Customer cellphone.User Customer can only choose either BNI e-Secure or BNI m-Secure depending on Customer preference. By choosing BNI e-Secure, User Customer must always have the BNI e-Secure device everytime he/she performing financial transactions. User Customer choosing BNI m-Secure, to bring his/her cellphone or smartphone everytime he/she performing financial transactions.Customer can select either using BNI e-Secure or BNI m-Secure by visiting Customer Service Officer at the nearest Branch Office.
Customer who has been registered to BNI m-Secure at Branch is able to directly download BNI m-Secure application through BNI Internet Banking website by choosing menu “Profile” then select “Download BNI m-Secure”. Customer who wants to transact over the limit mentioned above can come to nearest Branch Office for the solution.V. Problem and Solving
Problem using BNI Internet BankingWhatever problem you have with BNI Internet Banking, including lost, damaged and blocked BNI e-Secure, problematic transaction, forgetting User ID and Password, please contact BNI Call at 1500046.- Do a re-registration BNI Internet Banking via ATM nearby, with steps:
- Select the "Registration e-Channel"
- Select Menu "BNI Internet Banking"
- Read the rules stated in the screen and select the "Agree"
- Create 6 (six) digit registration PIN BNI Internet Banking in accordance with the wishes of the Customer, then select "Press If True"
- Re-enter the registration PIN of BNI Internet Banking that has been created, then select "Press If True"
- You will receive an application code on the BNI ATM receipt
- After re-registration process at the BNI ATM, customers should access https://ibank.bni.co.id/ for creation of new passwords, with the steps:
- Click the "Forgot Password" at the login page BNI Internet Banking
- Enter the application code contained in BNI ATM receipts received by the Customer during the re-registration process at BNI ATM
- Enter verification code shown in the screen
- Enter the 6 (six) digit PIN which has made customer registration during the re-registration process at BNI ATM
- Click the “continue” button
- In the next menu, customers can create a new password in accordance with the wishes of the Customer.
Customer can contact BNI Call on 1500046 come to the nearest BNI branch office. Once the verification process is done, the officer will inform the Customer’s User Id.BNI e-Secure is blocked because Customer has entered the wrong password for three consecutive times. Please contact BNI Call at at 1500046.BNI m-Secure is blocked because Customer has entered the wrong password for three consecutive times. Please contact BNI Call then download BNI m-Secure application via BNI Internet Banking Menu and reinstall it to get new BNI m-Secure PIN.Request to block BNI e-Secure or BNI m-Secure can be done by contacting BNI Call 1500046.If BNI e-Secure is lost or broken, Customers can visit to nearest Branch Office and request for BNI e-Secure replacement. Kindly bring the proof of account ownership and a valid id as the prerequisite documents.
For loss and damage to the BNI e-Secure caused by customer will be charged in accordance with term.If the connection is off when the transaction is processed, then the transaction will be cancelled. If the connections is off after the transaction is finished, then transaction is successful. To avoid duplicate transaction, please login again to BNI Internet Banking after the connection is restored (ten minutes later minimum) and do balance inquiry or transaction history to make sure the status of the transaction.
